How are my funds safe with you?

Cohortpay has an Australian Financial Service Licence (AFSL) which is issued by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. This AFSL can be view on the  ASIC site.  

This AFSL has stringent requirements relating to:

  • the holding of client funds.
  • auditing of the companies financial records.
  • membership of an external dispute resolution scheme.

We use a range of major banking institutions in order to provide this service to our customers. Where appropriate, we have established trust accounts or segregated accounts where only student funds are deposited. From the moment you send your money until it is remitted to your educational institution, your funds are held with these major banking institutions.
